if you have a doodle/poodle mix

The reality is that we see more doodles, poodle mixes, poos, and doos than anything else these days. Your dogs (as adorable as they are) can be very time consuming and difficult to groom. This isn't always behavior related but HAIR related. Mixing different breeds with poodles has caused dogs to be bred with easily matted/tangled hair. Many of you purchase these mixes to avoid shedding and because you love the big fluffy teddy bear look. What most breeders fail to tell you is that all of that hair requires a lot of maintenance at home and regular and expensive trips to the groomer. In fact, many salons are no longer accepting new doodle clients due to the wear and tear on their bodies, equipment, and a lack of clients willing to pay for their time. 

Now, we LOVE our doodles, cockapoos, bichonpoos, you name it! We are happy to continue to take care of them in our studio. However, we do have to charge for our time and work that goes into grooming them. Your dog's haircut probably won't cost the same as your neighbor's. That might be because your neighbor was previously undercharged, and we are working to increase their price over time (our bad). It might be because your neighbor spends their nights and weekends line brushing and combing their dog. It might be because their dog has thin wiry hair and yours has thick luscious curls. No matter the reason, our prices are our prices. If they don't work for you, that's totally cool! We hope you find someone you love in your price range.
